Duration

Waiting is an essential part of a woman who is about to give birth.

In "Full Hands", the artist documents the last week of her pregnancy. lying in her bed holding a white surface lying on her stomach. She paints the surface in black and draws a circle on her stomach. When she finishes painting, a thumb nail with black nail polish is used and serves as a screen. Communication with the waiting body to give birth is through the actions done by the fingers, and through the touch of those fingers would know the coming of the end of waiting. In the video shown inside the thumb’s nail there are three actions of hands and fingers that correspond with the prenatal moments - the opening moments. For the pregnant woman, number three is an important number because after the third opening comes a moment when you can enter the delivery room.
